"Bristol Township Man Falsely Arrested in AG's Meth Ring Bust"
A Bristol Township man who says he was falsely arrested two years ago as part of a $3.5 million crystal methamphetamine trafficking ring has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit contending his only “crime” was legally trading auto and motorcycle parts. In his lawsuit, James Simmers Sr. contends it was his friendship with one of the drug ring’s now convicted distributors that made him a target for the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, which led the investigation that resulted in the arrest of 27 people including Simmers.
